Tips For Making Delicious French Toast

French toast is a favorite breakfast for many people – ranging from children to adults – but while a lot of people love to order French toast when they are in a restaurant, they do not enjoy making it at home, as it never seems to turn out quite the way they want it to. As far as this goes, however, the good news is that French toast is actually quite easy to make at home (that is, it is quite easy to make so that it tastes delicious!), as long as you know a few simple tips that you should make sure you follow.

Of course, French toast is made simply by cutting slices of bread in half, whipping some eggs together, dipping the bread in these eggs, and tossing this onto a hot frying pan full of oil, but when you go through all these steps, one thing that will make a big difference in the way your French toast tastes is the quality of the ingredients you use; by using fresh, organic ingredients, you will greatly improve the taste of your French toast.

Making the oil in the pan hot is also important; when the oil in the pan is not hot enough, you will end up with French toast that is fairly soggy and not nearly as tasty, but when you get the oil real hot, the French toast will be crunchy, and the flavor will truly emerge.

Another thing of importance is the add-ons at the end of the “making the French toast” process; some people prefer powdered sugar on their French toast, and most people prefer syrup, so have powdered sugar ready for those who want it, and make sure the syrup you are using is high-quality and great-tasting, as this will make a big difference in the way the French toast itself tastes!

All in all, French toast is an easy breakfast meal to make, and when you make it with these tips in mind, you will be able to make French toast that satisfies everyone you serve it to!

Getting To Know Twitter

It seems like Twitter pops up everywhere you look nowadays, and not just online, as even news broadcasts and television shows seem to talk about Twitter; if you do not have a Twitter account of your own, however, you might not quite understand what Twitter is, how it is used, or how you can use it yourself.

The best way to understand Twitter if you use facebook is to think of Twitter the same way you think of facebook status updates – except, of course, that it is not on facebook, and that Twitter limits you to 140 characters (which means letters, numbers, punctuation, and spaces).

On Twitter, you will have your “home page” (which is where you will see a live stream of tweets from every person you follow), as well as your “profile page” (where everyone can go to see all your tweets); if you want to see someone’s tweets as part of your feed, you can follow them – or, you can simply bookmark and visit a person’s profile page if you only want to read their tweets every once in a while.

You can also use the “@” symbol, followed by a person’s Twitter name, to tage them in a post; if you tag someone at the start of a tweet, it will not show up in the news feeds of others, whereas your tweets will still show up in others’ news feeds if you tag people in the middle of a tweet.

Of course, regardless of where within a tweet you tag someone, people will still be able to see any of your tweets when they visit your profile page, so if the message you are trying to send to someone is a private message, make sure you use the direct message function instead of just tagging them.

People use Twitter in a number of different ways – to keep up with news or with their favorite celebrities, to interact with friends, or simply to post thoughts of their own – but regardless of how you end up using Twitter yourself, the first thing you need is to understand what it even is!
